A TAXONOMIC STUDY ON PALPITA HÜBNER FROM CHINA (LEPIDOPTERA, CRAMBIDAE, PYRAUSTINAE, SPILOMELINI)

This paper deals with 18 species of the genus Palpita Hübner from China. Among them, P. curvispina sp. nov. is described as new to science; P. kiminensis Kirti et Rose, P. indannulata Inoue and P. perunionalis Inoue are newly recorded to the Chinese fauna. The genital structures of the new species are illustrated. A key to all the known species is given.
