    The taxonomy of the Chinese Schoenobiinaeis revised. In total, 12 genera and 49 speciesare recognized. This paper presents keysto the genera and species,illustrations of wingvenation for eachgenus, and line drawings of genitalia of mostspecies. Two new species, namely, Schoenobius scirpus sp.nov. and Ramila minima sp.nov., are described. The female of Scirpophagaadunctella Chen,Song, and Wu, 2006 isreported for the first time. Donacaula forficellus (Thunberg, 1794) reported by Wang (1980) is proven to be a misidentification of S. scirpus sp.nov. The diagnostic characteristics of Schoenobiinae and the taxonomic status of some generaare discussed. Acropentias, Leechia, Brihaspa, and Promacrochilo are suggested to be removedfrom the subfamily because these genera do not share any synapomorphiccharacters with Schoenobiinae.

    Thecomplete mitochondrial genome of Acanthacorydalisorientalis (McLachlan)was determined and analyzed (GenBank accession number: KF840564). This paper representsthe first mitochondrial (mt) genome of the dobsonfly genus Acanthacorydalis. The mt genome is a typical circular DNA of 15 753 bp composed of 37 genes with an A+Tcontent of 76.7%. It has an ancestral gene arrangement of the insect mt genomes.Eleven of the 13 PCGs start with codon ATT and ATG, while several exceptionssuch as ATA and TTG respectively for atp8and nad1 are also present. Five protein-codinggenes end with a single T, while others have a termination codon of TAA or TAG.Most tRNAs are folded into the typical clover-leaf structure except for the trnS1 whose dihydrouridine arm was a simpleloop. The secondary structure of rrnl consists of five structural domains and 50 helices, while the rrns includes three domains and 34helices. The control region has a stretches of Ts with a length of 22 bp butlacks obvious tandem repeat region. Both Bayesian inference and maximumlikelihood (ML) analyses, based on all 13 protein-coding genes and two rRNAgenes of the mt genomes, confirm the monophyly of Corydalinae and suggest that Acanthacorydalis, together with Corydalus, which is an endemic dobsonflygenus from the New World, belong to a monophyletic lineage.

    A new species Macrobiotus wuyishanensis sp. nov. (Tardigrada: Macrobiotidae) is described fromMt. Wuyi, Southeastern China. It is mostsimilar to Macrobiotus spectabilis Thulin, 1928, but differs by lackingfine punctuation on the distal half of the projections on the egg, a ring of polygons that circle the base ofeach projection, and punctation between the projections on the egg shell. It isalso similar to M. grandis Richters,1911, but differs by smaller body size, lacking polygons and punctationsbetween the projections on egg shell.

    Anew species of Aequales group, namely Gieysztoriashiyanensis Wang & Xia, sp. nov.,is described from China. The new species is diagnosed by asclerotic stylet with a belt attaching 15 fang-like spines. A worldwide list ofAequales group and a key to species of Gieysztoria in China are provided.

    Anew species and a new record of the genus Balanococcus Williams are described from China. Theyare B. zhejiangensis sp. nov. and B. kwoni Pellizzari &Danzig, 2007. The new species, collected from Zhejiang, China under leaf sheathof Phyllostachys praecox, is similarto B. kwoni Pellizzari & Danzig, but can be distinguished by itshind coxa inflated, and only small type of oral collar tubular ducts present ondorsal surface. A key to Chinese species of Balanococcus is given. All specimens examined aredeposited in the Insect Collection of Beijing Forestry University.

    This paper describes themorphological data of the larvae of two species from the tribe Blaptini Leach,1815. The two species are Gnaptorina felicitana Reitter and Agnaptoria amdoensis G. Medvedev, whose larvae have not beenreported up to now. In this paper, morphological characters, informations ofspecimen, and character figures of the two species’ larvae are provided. A keyto the two genera and the reported species is listed here. The larvae specimensare deposited in the Museum of Hebei University.

    Thegenus Ochyrotica from China is reviewed,with four species treated. The male of O. connexiva (Walsingham) is describedfor the first time, O. zolotuhini Ustjuzhanin & Kovtunovich is firstly recorded in China, and thedistribution information of O. concursa (Walsingham) in China isclarified. The structural variations ofthe genus and all species from China are discussed. Images of the adultsand illustrations of genital structures are provided, along with a key to the knownChinese species.

    Macrophya opacifrontalis Li, Lei & Wei, sp. nov., M. pseudofemorata Li, Wang, & Wei, sp. nov., and M. huangi Li &Wei, sp. nov. of the sanguinolenta-group of Macrophya (Hymenoptera: Tenthredinidae)from China are described. M. opacifrontalis and M. pseudo- femorata is belong to the tongi-subgroup, whereas M. huangi belongs to the depressina-subgroup. The division of the tongi and depressina subgroups and species inside are briefly discussed. Keysto all known species of the tongi and depressina-subgroups from China are provided respectively.
