  Two new species and two newly recorded species of Tenuialidae in China, with an updated key to the family (Acari: Oribatida: Gustavioidea)

  In this work, two new species belonging to the family Tenuialidae from China are described: Tenuiala hubeiensis sp. nov., Hafenrefferia eurycuspis sp. nov. Two species, Tenuiala nuda Ewing, 1913 and Hafenrefferia gilvipes (Koch, 1839), are reported for the first time in China. A key is provided for adult identification of the world known species of Tenuialidae. All examined specimens are deposited in the Institute of Entomology, Guizhou Universiy (GUGC), Guiyang, Guizhou.

  A new species, Bregmatothrips sinensis Wang & Tong, sp. nov., is described and illustrated, and two species of newly recorded genera in Thripinae, Caprithrips insularis Beshear and Paithrips circularis Nonaka & Jangvitaya, are reported from China. The type materials and specimens examined are deposited in the Insect Collection, South China Agricultural University (SCAU).

  Four new synonyms in the stag-beetle genus Aegus MacLeay from Chinese fauna are proposed and discussed based on their type specimens: A. pichoni Didier 1931, syn. nov. = A. laevicollis Saunders 1854; A. beauchenei Boileau 1902, syn. nov. and A. caprinus Didier, 1928, syn. nov. =A. taurus Boileau, 1899; A. dispar Dider 1931, syn. nov. =A. kuangtungensis Nagel, 1925. A species checklist with fifteen species of this genus from China is given, including two new record species, A. labilis Westwood, 1864 from Xizang and A. coomani Didier, 1926 from Guangxi.

  The genus Aclista F?rster, 1856 (Hymenoptera: Diapriidae) from China is described for the first time, with descriptions and illustrations of three new species, A. annula sp. nov. and A. capitata sp. nov. from Yunnan, and A. hirsuta sp. nov. from Guangdong. A key for the identification of Chinese species is provided. All types are preserved in the Hymenopteran Collection of South China Agricultural University (SCAU).

  Several wild pollinator bees were found visiting local plants and collected in early spring in dry and eroding lands in Yunnan, China. With both morphology and DNA information, we discovered the hitherto unknown male of Colletes yanruae Niu, Zhu & Kuhlmann, 2013. Herein, the male was described and illustrated for the first time.

  The paper provides a review of the tribe Brachineurini first with subtribal arrangement (Brachineurina subtrib. nov. and Brachyneurina subtrib. nov.) and a key to the genera. A new genus and species, Pennaticoxita tauricornuta Jiao & Bu, gen. & sp. nov. from China is described with generic diagnosis, illustration and photograph. The type specimens are deposited in the Institute of Entomology, College of Life Sciences, Nankai University, Tianjin, China (NKUM).

  Modern grylloblattids are one of the least diverse insect orders. The single extant family is contrasted with 46 families described from the fossil records, which extend to the Late Carboniferous. The most ancient grylloblattid nymphs are known from the Lower Permian. Till now, there is no report on grylloblattid from Burmese amber, which is a very old amber locality. Herein, we describe Sylvalitoralis cheni Zhang, Bai & Yang, sp. nov. from Grylloblattina based on a nymph specimen from the mid-Cretaceous Myanmar (Burmese) amber.
