Abstract

The genus Leptocera (Diptera: Sphaeroceridae) from China is reviewed. A new species, L. guangxiensis sp. nov. from Guangxi, is described and illustrated. L. ovata Su is considered as the synonym of L. salatigae (De Meijere). A key to Chinese species of Leptocera is provided.
