Abstract

This paper explores the integrative utilization of morphology and geometric morphometrics in order to deal with sibling species in Torrenticolidae. The results suggest: (1) Features of anterior margins of coxae, dorsoglandularia 1–4 and infracapitulum can be utilized in landmark-based geometric morphometric approach; (2) A new species, Torrenticola brevisuturae Gu & Guo, sp. nov., is reported in this paper.
